Titre : | EMBOLIE PULMONAIRE HYDATIQUE : APPORT DE L’ANGIOSCANNER (SERIE DE CAS) | Type de document : | thèse | Auteurs : | SAFAE ABOUZAID, Auteur | Année de publication : | 2024 | Langues : | Français (fre) | Mots-clés : | Embolie pulmonaire Kyste hydatique Angio-TDM. | Résumé : | Hydatid pulmonary embolism, an extremely rare complication, occurs due to the migration of
an hydatid cyst into the pulmonary circulation. The diagnosis of this condition is often
challenging due to its non-specific clinical presentation, such as dyspnea, chest pain, and
hemoptysis. Chest CT angiography plays a crucial role in this context.
This selective imaging allows a precise visualization of hydatid emboli, which manifest as
endoluminal defects or well-defined rounded homogeneous lesions with low density, typically
unilocular, obstructing the pulmonary arteries. The chest CT angiography detects associated
signs, including bronchial dilatation, bronchial wall thickening, and the characteristic tree-inbud pattern, suggesting the presence of hydatid cysts or their rupture. Additionally, it can also
assess the extent of vascular embolism and reveals associated parenchymal pulmonary cysts.
Chest CT angiography, offering detailed visualization of vascular and pulmonary structures, is
the gold-standard for quick and reliable diagnosis of hydatid pulmonary embolism. It plays a
crucial role in directing treatment, often involving surgery, and enhancing patient prognosis.
Finally, chest CT angiography serves as the gold standard for diagnosing and managing hydatid
pulmonary embolism, offering a thorough evaluation of the pathology and potential
complications. | Numéro (Thèse ou Mémoire) : | M3702024 | Président : | JROUNDI Laila | Directeur : | EL AOUFIR Omar | Juge : | TADILI Sidi Jawad | Juge : | ACHIR Abdellah | Juge : | SAYAH Rochde |
