Depuis le 20 ème siècle la mucoviscidose a fait l’objet de nombreuses études ayant permis de mieux comprendre la pathologie et d’élaborer des procédés thérapeutiques ayant permis l’amélioration de l’espérance de vie des patients. Dans le contexte actuel la prise en charge digestive de la maladie revêt une importance capitale de par le poids qu’elle occupe dans le bien être des patients qui vivent de plus en plus longtemps. De plus les complications digestives peuvent constituer une cause subite de mortalité nécessitant une prise en charge rapide. L’approche thérapeutique des manifestations digestives inclut la prise en charge nutritionnelle qui permet de prévenir les complications digestives et d’assurer une croissance normale chez les patients.
Since the 20th century, cystic fibrosis has been the subject of numerous studies which have made it possible to better understand the pathology and to develop therapeutic processes which permitted to improve the life expectancy of patients. In the current context, the management of digestive manifestations of the disease is of capital importance due to the weight it occupies in the well-being of patients who live longer than before. In addition, digestive complications can constitute a sudden cause of mortality requiring rapid treatment. The therapeutic approach of digestive manifestations includes nutritional support which helps prevent digestive complications and ensure normal growth in patients. |
